I was just wondering where the WTS gets the idea of the 'Other sheep' who survive the 'Great tribulation' becoming cleansed.
I know Revelations speaks specifically of the 144,000 "washing themsleves in the blood of the lamb", thereby becomming cleansed, or perfect.
The WTS teaches that the 'other sheep' become cleansed gradually over the 1,000 year reign, but wouldn't they themselves need to be washed clean (obviously symbolic) in Jesus' blood somehow?

13 And in response one of the elders said to me: “These who are dressed in the white robes, who are they and where did they come from?” 14 So right away I said to him: “My lord, you are the one that knows.” And he said to me: “These are the ones that come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
It says that they "have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb." That sounds like a cleansing to me.
On a side note:
Notice where the "great crowd" comes from. From out of the tribulation.
I have asked elders why it is that the "great crowd" here mentioned is NOT idenified before the tribulation. It's only after.
How then is it that JW's can use the term "great crowd" to apply to themselves???? Still waiting for an answer........
