I knew you were gonna say that Sunspot! I know exactly what you mean. I HATE cold. 6 months is too long for winter. Blah.
Crumpet, I'm sitting here wearing one of my 2 pairs of black linen pants. I have black sandals, black skirts, black tank tops. I hear in warmer climates they don't, but I'm surprised you guys don't either. Why not?
Excuse for going to the movies is to cool off. Excuse for sex is having to lay down in the bedroom to cool off, especially after that sweaty train ride. There you go! BTW, have you ever tried wine slush? We have a great frozen red wine--just pure wine frozen into a slush consistency. Tastes very different when frozen, almost like soda. It goes down really easy. Drink it on a hot day and you'll be drunk in no time.
How could I have forgotten to mention produce? Love it! We have an awesome grocery here with tons of produce year round, but it's just not the same when it's not sun-ripened and in season. Grilling it is even better. Everything tastes better and I have foodgasms all the time.

I mainly like the longer days and the walks along the riverbank. Much more pleasant in July than in January!!
