  There is no question about it, the world is rapidly heading toward its terminal tumult. With the foretold apostasy now fully underway, the stage is set for Jehovah’s ongoing controversy to be pressed to its ultimate conclusion. Piece by piece, chunks of the underlying economy, the life blood of the present system of things, are falling away. The ongoing collapse cannot continue on indefinitely. For the present moment the only thing that seems to be preventing a final catastrophic disintegration of the dollar is the fear-induced irrational hope of investors in the mythical near term recovery.

  Now, as if on cue, as the system totters on the verge of complete financial collapse, the next world war seems poised to erupt in the coming days and weeks ahead. The Middle East is a ready-made tender box, prepared to be ignited at the earliest convenience of the demonic powers that be, in order to spring the trap and throw Jehovah‘s people into the maelstrom of confusion. As is stands, apparently Iraqi commandos are presently in Jordan, which, if true, is a very dangerous escalation of an already perilous situation.

  Doubtless, apostate ridiculers will proclaim themselves to be amused and unable to see any connection between the strategic situation now developing and the issues related to the Watchtower Society. And no doubt that’s true. That is the beauty of Jehovah’s way. His justice determines that those who cunningly excavate a pit for their brothers to fall into, are actually, unknowingly, digging their own graves. The Psalmist foretold that Jehovah would be earnestly looking for an opportunity to get the apostate into his hand. From all indications, the time is ripe for the terror of God to fall upon an unsuspecting world.

  You say that Jehovah is laying traps for people in preparation for their destruction - is this the sort of God you really want to worship? Your post is full of hate, animosity and fear, don't you realise that these so called apostates are just ordinary people. You seem to be following the qualities that you assume are Gods which appear to be all negative.

  Do you really want God to do all this? I used to believe in this but I did not want God to do it - I always thought that people deserve a chance and if the best that God can do is provide people like yourself then what chance have they got? I feel sorry for you because you seem to hate mankind so much, and if hate is what drives you do you think you deserve a new system?

  My experience as a JW has shown me that they are the most selfish, conceited and predujiced people or religion around. Their desire for this all to happen overwhelms any sense of humanity they once had. Jehovah would have been better off getting the stones to preach for all of its effectiveness. This preaching work is supposed to be their best hope and I would say that the failure of the witnesses to show humanity, or to convince humanity, is their own failing and not Gods. So therefore you would have to say that God is not behind the organisation. Surely it would have been done more effectively than this - how can He be behind an organisation that is so full of hate, full of people that want the system to end which means the majority of mankind would be destroyed. It is a very sick belief which approves of mass murder of innocent people who havent been given a chance.

  How do you feel about your own failure? I know that JWs only follow this because they want to feel special, part of an elite and this mythical new or young anointed class is just one example of this. My advice to you would be to get a psychiatrist because self delusion is a psychological disorder.

  Hi YK,

  You may be right about the economy, it is definitely on the downward slide here in NC. The industries are laying off people every day here, including my wife and niece, but what does this have to do with the end of the world. The great depression didn't bring the end. Just because people are seeing the truth about the WT Society(Apostates) doesn't mean there arn't enough dummies to keep it going for years to come. Your doom and gloom attitude must make you so dependent on a disaster that if everything keeps going you will be so depressed, you just might cause your own doom.

  Agendas Agendas Agendas

  I continually warn lurkers and others here to be sure to identify the agenda behind what someone has written. Almost everything on the web is editorial as opposed to news, that is, most everything you read and see on the web and indeed on other media as well is opinion, not fact. That of course also includes what I write.

  You Know points us to www.dismal.com. While this was an interesting article on the overvaluation of the dollar which has occurred numerous times in the past, it did not predict the end of the world. Instead the writer was pointing people to possible investment gains to be had by investing in foreign currencies which he argues are currently extremely undervalued. He probably writes for or works for some type of institution that would profit from such a move.

  LaRouche makes extremist statements almost weekly, which You Know feels we should see here. LaRouche, like Pat Buchanan and countless other fringe politicians have to make extreme statements to get any press. They mainly have the goal of making a living from this, but certainly would, like Adolf Hitler, take advantage of a depression or other troubling event to attempt to seize political power or increase their political influence. He clearly has an agenda behind each statement.

  You Know also has an agenda. He needs people to believe that he is right. He stands to become a king over the earth whenever this catastrophe happens. He has admitted this in the past in reply to my posts. He has an agenda.

  Hal Lindsay, Timothy Levay, Jack Van Impe all have agendas too. Van Impe has his wife sit and read gloom and doom forecasts for an hour and then tries to sell you a book. Lindsay and Levay also write and sell gloom and doom books. Doomsaying is right up there with pornography when it comes to titillation and its value it just about as long lasting.

  Last but not least, the Watchtower Society has an agenda. They want you to sell their books. Their agenda is quite different from the majority of Jehovah's Witnesses who I believe are mostly honest hearted people who want to live a good life and have the world be a better place. Unfortunately they don't recognize that you can work toward those goals in much better ways than selling books and magazines that basically repeat the same information every 6 months or so.

  Shame on anyone who tries to scare people into not living a full life and making themselves, their families and their friends happy in the beautiful world we live in.

  In all the willing of God to destroy the world JWs expect some things to happen first.

  The "Good News" has to be preached in all the inhabited world. According to the WTS' own figures (2000 World report) the 6 million Witnesses are preaching to 4 Billion people. China isn't on the list but there's still a billion people missing. It sort of impacts their publisher to population ratios a bit. Who are they trying to fool? Not God by any means!

  Oh, and doesn't the communist Godless nations have to turn on religion and destroy it? And then all the big business still thriving have to lament the end of the money spinning religious harlot before the end comes regardless of how many Iraqi commandoes are hob-nobbing with the Jordanians?

  Another thought. When God decreed that Sod'om and Gomor'rah be destroyed he relented to not doing so if just 10 righteous ones were found there out of the entire city. In the end God had the righteous Lot (lot too) evacuated. However, righteous Lot was not as squeaky clean as you may think. Afterall, he chose to live amongst all these wicked people instead of going camping with his uncle. And after he was rescued he tended to get blind drunk and have sex with his daughters.

  If the average JW is as righteous as Lot and there are 6 million of them why would God break his own rule of not destroying everyone for the sake of the righteous? Anyhow there are a lot more than 6 million good people in the world so why should we worry about what God does...he'll concentrate on the Iraqi commandoes.
