I am looking for the Pioneer Book

    know whats weird?

    my mom went to Pioneer school. I know she has the book.

    I was going to find it, and take a pic.

    But I can't find it...

    The mention of pioneer book brings back a memory.

    Years ago when I was active a sister in the hall wouldn't let me pick up and look at her pioneer book. She said: "you have to be a pioneer to see it..." or some such thing. I said: "yeah, okay!"

    You could see she was of the mentality that she thought she was special because she was a pioneer.

    She belonged to some elite club that I was not a part of and so my eyes could not see the holy words that were only meant for her special eyes.

    Are you interested in the newer version that came out within the last 5-10 years or the older version? It might make a difference as to what is available.

    the newer version would be nice as they always change things i only known about the elder's book not the pioneer what is it about?

    Cookiegirl - just to clarify - that book which is pictured is the pioneer book - not the elders manual which is called Pay Attention to Yourselves and the Flock or similar. I did have a link to it but surprise surprise the link site has been removed. If you go to www.quotes.ca - you might find a new link there. Thats my best bet!

    Was the documentary you saw on in France? Where did they get that figure I wonder!

    yeah i saw that on a french-swiss channel it was made by swedish journalists and apparently the org in NY keep records of jws pedophiles it was revealed by a guy who built an association for victims of molestation ( an ex jw ) i don't remember his name we even saw on this doc a jw teen that brought a hidden camera so we could see what was going when the elders told him to come and have a talk in sweden

    Jeez! If I had know that I could have made $100 for that damn book I would have kept it!
