Well call me old fashioned, I dont think its nice boasting about screwing lots of people, dubs or otherwise, and its even less clever bragging about screwing dubs - thats just shooting fish in a barrel.When I was a dub, and I know I can speak for some of my friends who used to be dubs, I never screwed around. Even in the face of great temptation. I couldnt see the point of trying to be part of the gang unless you were going to follow the rules.
It just strikes me as a bit childish and smug to pretend to be part of the gang, and brag about breaking the rules. Go ahead and leave if you dont want to play, but dont laugh cynically at the people still trying to play the game.
Its like joining the Conservative club then bragging about how you vote Labour every election. Go ahead and join the Labour club then, instead of staying in the Conservative club and laughing at all the other simpletons in the club who still vote Conservative.
I just dont understand, you are in or out. Dont be in and brag about secretly being out. It makes a mockery of people like me who really did try hard when we were in.

no, seriously, i've learned a lot the past year. wow, you shouldve seen me last august when i was exposed to the world. i was so green. i'm not going to screw her because its wrong. i respect what other people believe and its not right for her to do that in her religion. thats why i have no problem screwing around with this other girl who likes to party and do drugs because thats what she believes in.
i have learned so much, and it all started with my initiative to want to get out there party. my initiative to lie for my own good. i think i've kind of shared the same philosophy with the girl that got me into the world. man, i wish i wouldnt have fucked it up with her, but i was green back then. i still have much to learn. -

Yes you are. Please talk to tsu. He worries me. I do respect all of you young ones. You can see the reality of JW's, at such a young age. I hated it, but couldn't see how wrong it was, at your age. When everybody was offering you a place to go, I couldn't offer. I don't have a college near. And you WILL go to college. HL

My comments earlier to Tsu were in no way serious, or recommended. I guess I should know by now that the advice Tsu solicits from the forum on matters of the opposite sex is very serious.
Although I have no real regrets, I truly wish I hadn't of put my self through the JW ringer as an adolescent, and instead took good care of myself and made better an more logical decisions. It's easy of course for me to say this in hindsight, since I have the benefit of hindsight and reflection. Seriously though, as a JW kid you're taught to fear Jehovah/elders/parents, but you're never truly taught respect for yourself. A truly wise person weighs up the emotional and physical impacts of their lifes choices. It's healthy of course to be a little reckless when you're that young, but respect for yourself and the emotions of others is far more rewarding in the long-term, and will get you much further in life. Taking advantage of naiive desperate witness girls is not at all the way to go. The emotional torment and trauma you experience when you break the rules is absolute hell to live through. Caring, loving people look out for those in similar circumstances to themself, they don't try to take advantage of the weak for their own personal gain.
