It just sickens me to read about these demented people and know that this cult of murder will not go away. The most dangerous thing on the planet is a twisted religionist, and there are many of them walking among us wishing for our death and the destruction of western civilization. This is how they plan to destablize western countries. Pretty soon there will be retaliation and all kinds of decent muslim people will be the target of revenge and the cycle of horror begins.
Some have mentioned the similarities between these robotic minions of radical Islam and the equally robotic minions of the jw organization. You would be surprised to learn just how similar their mindsets, rules and regulations and works-based salvation ethics are. When I lived in an Islamic country I got to see first hand the eerie connections...even down to the shunning and demonizing of others who do not believe the same things.
I had very disturbing feelings of déjvu the whole time I was in the middle east. The fear factor was all encompassing also...fear of education, fear of dissention and diversity of opinion. The trivialization of women and the mysogeny were identical. Five prayer calls a day and woe to anyone who couldn't drop everything and obey them. Five jw meetings a week with the same judgements for not going. The constant harangues from the mosques to avoid the unbelievers, the strictly enforced dress codes, the constant browbeating of not doing enough and not being good enough. The same dogma of being "the only true religion" with the same attedent hypocracy. They even have the same teaching of Paradise being only for them and everyone else is condemned to death.
Why do these two religions mirror each other in so many ways? Beats me, but I do know the similarity was incredible.

The fiercest enemy is the person with nothing to lose
Trying to make sense of the senseless Being aware of the-- discrepancy between what we believed to be true and what we come to realize is not true and trying to reconcile this discrepancy this is more or less what psychologists call "cognitive dissonance".The mind (logic) tell's you one thing but your heart tell's you that your mind is in error.--Much like a computer with a faulty program you sometimes have to 'crash' and restart all over again. Perplexed and confused, the defendant of the faulty logic may often resort to the ad hominem argument.Ad hominem,is Latin for "against the man" meaning to attack the person making the argument instead of addressing the fallacy of the argument. Notice-most most defendants are sincere but sincerely wrong .Watch out for the psychopath who can never be reasoned with because the have NO conscience. Yes,"everyone is entitled to their own opinion but NOT their own facts". I have been there! I was a 'defend my doctrines at all cost' devout Jehovah's Witness for 33 years.I KNOW the anguish and the agony, yes the sudden impact surreal horror of having to renounce the life-long convictions of my heart. To quote the WWII Japanese Emperor upon surrender to the Allies,"we must now endure the unendurable". -

Yes the similarities are scary arent they?
The only real difference is that they are told to bomb and we are told god will do the bombing and all we have to do is place magazines. Its not a huge step, but one im certain the witnesses could never take, as much as they'd like to.
The only worry is rogue witnesses who are unstable and cant handle what they are being taught and who kill themselves and / or kill their family to ensure they will see them in the new system.

So religion has the power to make people overcome the almighty instinct for life, for survival the JWs managed to persuade them to forego blood transfusions for themseves or their underage children for a soon to be paradise and the moslems to go and blow themselves up in an act of war against the enemy for a paradise that comes at that very moment and they are in fact eager and pleased to die. That's a classic example of revolting religious manipulation, of course the suicide bomber just goes to the grave.
Fanaticism is always narrow minded and misguided. -

You're right, Minimus. All cults are the same. You see one, you've seen them all and it's a matter of degree, not content.
