My weekend is horrible. Lost out on a job of a lifetime due to a reference that snaked me. He said he was going to be a good reference and then he snaked me out of jealousy. Yah so not so good for me.

yes, (sigh), i know.
i saw "the island" this evening. i give it a personal 6 out of ten. way too much mind numbing action. the plot was cool, but could have been so much cooler if the director had not been so affraid of making a movie that requires brains. the geno-terror part was underdeveloped, and relied too heavily on credulity of technology.

I just found the Live Aid 1985 concert on boxset, I'm completely stoked! had to shell out $65 for the privilege, but I'm sure it's worth it.

I saw 2 very different trailers for that movie "the Island", the concept seemed much better in the first, in the second it just looked like special effect trash to me.

Yesterday was sunny. I sat in my mums hammock and we got on well. That was nice.
Today is pissing it down, so I have spent all morning on JWD. No sign of the rain stopping, I keep asking my partner if he wants a game of cards or scrabble. I need to do the ironing (sigh).
