In leu of all these threads lately about what attracts us to the opposite (or same) sex, I was wondering if any of y'all out there share my love for the ladies (or gentlemen, if in your case) to have a little "junk in the trunk" or "cushion for the pushin'"? I like really voluptuous women. Not obese, mind you, but some chunkyness is okay by me. I'm a really big-boned feller myself. what are your thoughts on having a meaty mate?

I don't really like what the media is promoting with all those skinny supermodels!
It increases peer pressure an women (especially teenagers) and there has been many cases of annorexica or blummedia (can't spell sorry)
I watched a video on it once in P.E theory on body image. Its quite sad really.

If a guy is really skinny, I am afraid I will break him. OTOH, really ripped body-builder doesn't feel quite 'real' when you touch it.
I'm not really fussy either way (after all, sex is about pheromones and attractive qualities, looks don't really play much part in it), but some meat on the bones is just fine by me!

Hey guys:) Last semester at Uni when we covered the 'sociology of the body' we looked at it from the perspective that skinny/toned gives the idea of self-control and strength, which is something desirable and respected. Of course this is only one perspective. I've also read that men are unlikely to want to settle with playboy glam types because they are so desired by other men and this challenges their manhood, and makes them feel insecure. So, on account the majority of men are content with attractive women, as compared to the rare supermodel breed.
btw, there is no way that that pic of Britney hasn't been "touched up". Her legs are a very unnatural shape, and if you ever see the shots the paparazzi snap of her when she's not made up, she definitely don't resemble the wax model as pictured above!

Defending being overweight is a major pass time here and I am in the doghouse for preferring women who stay in shape. I personally don’t like stick insects and prefer a voluptuous woman. Unfortunately the line between a well upholstered woman and one with too many cushions is a fine line.

This really is good news for me, I used to be skinny but I'm pregnant now on my second child and I've put on a lot of weight, as I'm not the active type I don't much fancy burning it off, so I'm glad that some people prefere a bit of meat on the bones.

I was fat as a child. Then I began dieting as a teenager and became a JW.
My first husband, an elder was as obsessed about leaness as I was. I remember the first gift he gave me when we began dating was a pair of Puma running shoes so we could go running together.
Even though I have maintained a trim figure I have always fought a little tummy fat.
My new husband loves my tummy fat! It blows me away! He likes a big butt too and points to gals with the perfect stick out butt. I am simply AMAZED!!!!
He says alot of guys in their hearts really like a meaty gal.
I am still blown away by this.
