Give a lift to hikers if you have space in your vehicle, they could be waiting for hours by the road.

Be nice, and don't comment on someone's appearance in a negative vein unless they ask your opinion.
Example,,, "Hey, you could really use a haircut, it's looking quite ragged." (unsolicited, insensitive comment by casual aquaintance)
Reply,,, "Sure, if you'd like to pay for it, cause I don't have the bux right now." (embarrassed, ticked off recipient of said comment)

One thing that we can do.........is when we see someone who is abviously upset or very sad, we can ask them if they'd like to talk about it. They may not, but they know that somebody does care about them and it should help a bit.
