Only recently have I seen fake nails up close... and to be honest... I find them beautiful, especially with a nice very deep red (erm.. kinda like the color of blood, or a good dark merlot... lmao) painted on them.

Lucky me! I have really hard nails, and perfectly shaped. When they are long and polished, folks often think they are fake. hehehe, one time, a guy I worked with would NOT believe they were real, and he tried to pull one off. So, that nite, I took off the nail polish and showed them to him the next day! I also offered to show him their strength, ,,, but he chickened out!

To answer your question, if they look good, who cares?

I have real nails but I prefere artificial, they look really nice, especially with a French manicure, they're just not practical for my lifestyle though.

fake...fake...fake...I've had fake nails continuously for at least the last 4 years.

My real nails are very thin and break easy, I also use my hands alot when dealing with the public and want them to look nice. Oh yea, and my husband says I don't have to justify it if thats what I want...

I have real nails but they are chewed to bits. I don't like them long, they just don't feel comfortable.

I'm more of a tomboy so i perfer real and short. I only go fake and long for special occasions or just to treat myself. But on a daily thing its not practical for me to keep them.
