Just a honest question: Why are you so obsessed by the JW's, as you are not a ex-jw?
Do I have to be an ex-jw to be interested in jw's? Its just my interest in religions k, I know stange but SORRY!

It is not strange, don't be angree, As I said it is just a honest question, what do you think is so interesting in the JW religion?
I was raised as a JW, so can't really figure out how people would think if they were not. Some things that are normal for us, must seem pretty bizare for the outsiders (and a little bizare for me now, when I can take a distance). It is maybe interesting to see how a group can use the methods of mind control so successfully.
or it can be the teachings, as some are maybe more logic then other religions. Just wondering..... Danny

Eva, I think you have to be very careful. Most ppl become JWs who have had former contact with them or know someone is or was a JW.

Its because when you start hearing first hand from a witness it all feel very familiar . Remember this is a cult, you say you are very interested in religion just remember the WT isnt a religion.

If you do get one at the door please, please just say no thankyou. You know what they have to say so why bother

with your interest in religions you should arrange for representatives from them all to come to your house all at the same time and they could all have 10 minutes each to state their case

T, I only rang the Kingdom hall to ask on their basic doctrines and experiance a conversation with a jw WHY IS THIS SUCH A CRIME?????

Don't have some of those religions in my area.

I don't want a big long line of all the world's religions comming to my door!!!!! arrr!!!!

I'm thinking of looking into the shinto religion or the Hindu religion next. I've got a friend who is Hindu she told me a bit about her religion the other day, it sounded very interesting.

I find the jw religion interesting, and please don't ask why! I don't know lol! I just find them interesting

I know about my religion, but I just like to learn about others, some people get bugged by this, but why?

Yes I know it is unusual for one to have interests like these, we are all individuals and have different interests, religion just happens to be one of my interests.

Anyhoo....just tell them that you are lesbian, and didn't realize you were not welcome in their religion, so you are going to go find one that is.

Lesbians scare most JWs, I think even more than homosexual males....probably because who has the headship in a female-female couple?

Don't listen to all the negativity from these boring old farts, Eva. You want to find things out about the topic, and you've chosen a fun way to go about it. And yes, I remember being fifteen. In a way defd's half right - at fifteen things are a lot more interesting when there's and element of mystery, intrigue and danger - sometimes one has to create the situation if it won't create itself, if you know what I mean... Ignore the boring ones and keep up the good work - while they're wasting time looking for you, they may well be diverted from some other evil they could be doing, so you may well be doing a community service. If they come to your door and you don't want to talk, just deny that your name is "evenescence" and that'll be the problem solved.

I'll just invite my friend over one saturday/ sunday morning and when they come to my door me and my friend will freak them out, maybe even ask the female jw if shes interested in making a threesome lol!
