Hi everyone! I am sorry I do not post on this forum often but I need your help! I just had someone register on my forum and they claim they are assigned to the Watchtower farm. They gave this web site address:
The Idea of the web site is to sell books to help them get off the “Farm”, the whole thing sounds kind of fishy to me! Anyone know about these folks? Are they on the up an up?

Can anyone find out anything from this information?
I also looked up driving directions from Jamaica, NY to Patterson, NY. I find this whole thing questionable since this is what I came up with:

People that are serving at the Watchtower Farms usually live there don't they? I mean for an old couple to have to travel over 3 hours a day to volunteer could not make it on the pittance that the society gives, right?

Dazed - the implication is that they do live at Bethel. What is odd is that the literature they are 'selling' would not be approved by the Society. Also, they bear no hard feelings against an Organisation that has 'constantly controlled' them.
One of the things that looked fishy to me was the book "Jehovah's Witnesses: From Publisher to Elder in Six Months". Yea right! And if they want out why help others get ensnared in the Watchtower web?
Within the last week or so there was a thread about this book "From Publisher to Elder in Six Months" being on e-Bay. I saw it. Could it be these two are behind that also?
Seems to me if they really are there and that's really their picture and names on the site, the society will make it quick for them to leave.
I would doubt someone there would put up a site like that and really not expect consequences.
But since they only registered the domain a few days ago, maybe it'll be interesting to see what they have to say in the near future.
They also copied the WTBTS logo! Interesting!
I replied to the post by asking them a few questions one of which was about their assignment at Bethel. I am anxious to see how they reply.
