nope, never been. raised in single mom household, with only one sister. used to seeing women take charge all my life.
an elder actually counselled me about my wife driving a car. i should have put this is my "elders say the darndest thangs" thread, but he said that if i was interested in reaching out, then perhaps i should drive to the meetings more often. what a dumbass. i'm sure the other elders would have laughed at this too. but that's just the thing. there are no stupidity stop gaps in the org. elders run free and wild.

Whoah, I didn't realize that the driving thing made me a male chauvenist.
But there was that one time I attended that rally...
What's up with you people? The poor frenchman never saw a car, far less drove one. Anyhow, what have you got against the French?
Of course not! Now excuse while I go beat my wife. Caught her going in public without her burka on again.
I'M only a pig, I mean a rat, not a male chauveniste
No wonder women can't find mates . . .at least of the opposite sex.
I've always absolutely hated being a passenger, no matter who else is driving. However I have to admit the one person I didn't mind doing the driving for me was my ex-wife. She was a very good driver and I recall her driving to the meetings with me passenging and nobody ever gave me trouble for it. How silly for someone to comment that it would be more appropriate for the man to be doing the driving. My life-mate now doesn't even drive, so the decision is settled.
Absolutely not....but women should know their place (j/k)
Seriously though, no I am not, firm believer in equality and have a more liberal feminist view on gender.
