Insight To The Scriptures....how can I get a copy?

  Of all the literature I left behind that day I moved from my elder husband's home I now wish I'd taken the Insight Books. More than once I have desired to peer again into the many Bible subjects discussed in length there. Having been away for 3-4 years now, how can I obtain a set? Do I go to the hall on a Sunday and go up to the literature desk? Should I call the KH and disguise myself as an interested householder?
  Should I obtain one through the P.O.?
  What would you suggest?
  And what donation would you suggest?
  What is the current donation, $50?

  i actually read nearly the whole thing when it came out.

  i looked in my ex's copy a couple months ago and actually got sick to my tummy reading the " mediator" entry.

  guess when i read it as a dub i was brain dead.

  The WTS policy is not to "place" Insight books with the general public and definitely not a DF'd or DA'd JW. Just the magazines and tracts are offered to them.

  For some reason I preferred the older single volume Aid book to the newer two volume Insight book. --VM44

  Yeah. My mum says that too. I don't know why they have it in 2 volumes? Why couldn't they just stick to one volume? It couldn't be because it's too heavy on the spine because look at the Reference Bible!
  
  I don't want to overly criticize, but I think the Insight on the Scriptures is a bit stale at times. Sometimes it can be quite good, other times it lags on a bit. And you might look at certain topic and it may "miss the point" and you don't get an answer on a certain topic.
  
  No offence to Raymond though! He was one of the main authours! So it couldn't be all that bad if he did it! I am fan of Raymond. :)
