No services, just a short visitation with these songs played in the background and then cremation. I want my children, family and friends to go home and have a celebration, drink a few and tell funny stories!
I have to say it: I don't like this thread because I once had a friend who told me that if he ever died he would like to hear this particular song played at his funeral. Then he killed himself.Not that I think it should be removed, or that it is a bad thread. It just made me really afraid for the lead poster.
hey sparkplug, i'm fine, what spurred this topic was , i'm getting over a bad bout of pneumonia, and last time i talked to my kids on the phone my ex got on and asked me who's going to pay to bury me w hen i die since i dont have him anymore..
i didnt have an answer but it got me thinking a bit morbid...

I've told my husband and daughter that I want "Good Riddance" by Green Day and "I Can Only Imagine" (by various contemporary Christian singers) ...... two totally different kinds of songs, I know. After reading the posts, I also love the sone "Cool Change" by Little River Band....I may have to consider that one, too.
