Hi Everybody,
Well, I finally found out what is wrong with me. My shoulder has been killing me for a good reason. I saw an orthopedic doctor and he said he thought the problem was actually from my neck and not my shoulder. He ordered another MRI to be taken of my neck. Well, that was supposed to be for next week. The pain got so bad that I went to the emergency room ( it was shooting down my arm and my fingers were numb ) they gave me an MRI and told me they would send the results to my doctor. My doctor called me the very next day and told me he had refered me to another orthopedic doctor in the same building and he wanted to see me that day. I went in and found out that I have a ruptured disc in my neck that it is pressing on my spine. Well, I need surgery and right away. It is scheduled for next week. They will be removing the disc and replacing it with a piece, with tiny rods and pins. Since it is in my neck they can't do the surgery from the back because my spine is in the way, so they have do make an incision from the front of my neck. He said I will be horse for a week or two afterwards because he has to move my voice box to the side to do the work. I will be out of work for 4 weeks at the least and will have to wear a neck brace for the same time. Guys, please think of me. I will let you know how things go. I have to call on Monday to get my Pre lab work done on Tuesday and schedule for the surgery. This thing hurts so bad, he says most people have immediate relief after the surgery, I hope I am one of them. Just keep me in your thoughts and well wishes.
Hugs,
