Hey Chris... you been reading too much of gringojj. Resplendant! I'm jealous of your real messican food. Today I made up 8 pork laulaus (pork bits wrapped in 5 layers of taro leaf then in banana leaf to hold it together - sort of like a Hawaiian Tamal), and another 4 pounds of pork shoulder wrapped in banana leaf to steam tomorrow for Hawaiian Laulaus and kalua shreaded pork. Next time I get pork shoulder on sale at that price, it's carnitas!

Mmmmm Tamals. I especially love the ones made with fine gound masa wrapped in banana leaves instead of corn husks.
