... but today I went to see Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo and I have to say it was the most stupid thing I have seen in a very long time.

It was so painfully bad that I actually walked out on it.

It was a never ending series of "penis" jokes and "gay" jokes and other really really stupid gags... like the girl Bigalow meets in obsessive compulsive and has 130 stupid things she does. She slaps herself three times when someone sneezes and screams at the top of her lungs when she hears a siren..... and on and on....

    Just painfully stupid.

SAVE YOUR MONEY... DON'T GO SEE IT... DON'T EVEN RENT IT WHEN IT COMES OUT ON DVD.

Suprised you actually had to buy a ticket to figure that one out. Please tell me you theatre hopped over to something worth watching?

I'm afraid not. I was so pissed that I just walked out without even thinking. I should have gone into Red Eye. I've been hearing some very good reviews of that show.

For the South Park fans out there, do you remember the "romance novel" that Mr. Garrison wrote? He wanted to write a romance novel that women would love so he kept writing about penises throughout the book... writing long detailed descriptions while hardly ever mentioning the women. In the end Mr. Garrison was horrified to find that his book became a hit gay novel.

I suspect this movie will have the same fate.

Did you see the first Deuce Bigalow movie? Did you expect the second would be better? This is one of those franchises that I can't imagine how the FIRST one was financed, much less the second...

lol, I skipped the first one, too. It's obviously frat-boy humour of the worst kind ... I'm surprised you didn't already know that!

I should have known something was wrong when the usher pointed me to the smallest theater in the farthest corner of the building.

as far as who financed it, Lorne Micheals probably had something to do with it. Rob Schneider's popularity died out a long time ago, but his contract with SNL pictures didn't, so they had to make it...or something like that.

I joke with my fellow buddies regarding the state of American cinema. "This is what you're fighting for, the right for people like this and Vin Diesel's right to make shitty ass movies"

I watched the first one while stoned and thought it was mildly humorous (I suppose that was a good indication that it actually sucked). The second time I watched it I didn't see anything funny about it.

    I think I'll skip part 2.
