Nealy arrested apostasising! Flying by the seat of my pants, I was.....

I had a morning and a half today.

I had put together some information on the Paul Berry case and how the WTBTS had spent around $500,000 of publishers donations on supporting a convicted paedophile.

I noticed, at my parents house what map they are using at the moment and decided to get my anti witnessing done before they went out in service there. However, it is a neighbourhood watch area so I decided I would have to do a few houses here and there along the roads and then run for it. I had a gut feeling I had to be quick and get out.

I placed my bike behind a bush and wall and did a few houses here and there.

I got back to my bike, slipped off my cap, glasses and mac and started cycling only to see one police car crawling along the first road, the police men looking down each drive. As I turned the corner another police car was crawling along, again looking down each drive.

I acted cool and ignored them. They ignored me.

I crossed over the main road and into another estate bloody fast, I can tell you.

I tell you! Next time, I'm sending them by royal mail!

However, all said and done, it was fun!!! That's the first time I've had to run from the cops.

It was also fun thinking on my feet, remembering all the alleys and backways to get back home.

I half expected to find a police car waiting outside my house.

I don't get it. What were you doing that was wrong? Why would they arrest you?

You have to go about it the right way. Dress like a JW, complete with serviceā„¢ bag. The cops won't come near you.

........and you hardly looked suspicious at all. A 105 year old cross dressing cyclist - wearing a mac in the middle of August......Well done - nice to see people serving their community

I think it was the secret agent costume that tipped them off!

He, He! I must have looked such an ass. Now i think about it, I really did dress all wrong!

Now it had been raining all day, so the mac was no problem but, I had my sons peak cap on, (got to be a mistake, chav alert!) and I had dark glasses on.

When I got back in my older daughter told me off. 'What the hell did you go looking like that for, you idiot! I mean dark glasses! The only thing dark at the moment is the bloody sky! No wonder someone called the police!'

My older son, 'When dad comes in, I'm gonna tell him and he's going to chain you to the bloody kitchen sink where you belong!' Now he's got more reason to be mad than most as for his job he has to have police checks regularly and so can't even afford for his mother to get into trouble!

My son and daughter were also worried about the new 'incitement to religious hate crime' laws that are coming in.

However, all my letters and information were pointing out was that no one should donate anything to the JWs as this is how they use the money, defending a convicted pedophile.

The area I was in was VERY wealthy and a neighbourhood watch area. That means that if anyone see anything at all suspicious the police will turn up at the drop of a hat. There was NO ONE else around when I was there and I think they were looking for someone in a hat, glasses, mac and walking. I'd put my 'disguise' in my bag and was back cycling when I saw them.

Bloody trouble was I nearly got motored by a BIG van when crossing the road. He did a lot of shouting and I gave him an 'expressive wave.'

Sometimes, you just know you're alive!

Nope the disguise is all wrong.

When I went out I dressed like a dub except I wore pants. No one even blinked and I was right across from the KH!!!

If you look like the average person people won't even think about it. Just one more person leaving stuff at their doors

    Thanks Lady Lee!

In future, I will go out looking 'nice'.

What I'm thinking of doing though, is just riding out and checking out the number of all the houses in each street and then letting the Royal Mail do the leg work.

I'm planning on 'doing' the study of a relative, as from what I've heard she is slowly falling into the dub nightmare and I think I may have to do her whole street, maybe in a month or so ( I was told where she lives last week, accidentally)

But, I think this issue of where the WTBTS spends its money will be interesting to the general public and I plan to slowly cover the whole city.

I should get accidental feedback on my campaign from my parents. I don't think Joe Public will be interest in the UN scandal but this might just catch their attention.

It sounds like a good idea Gill, I might do that next time I see the dubs on my street, get the antiwitness in first, so to speak, and I'm glad you weren't arrested
