I would willingly donate it. I would accept it if it meant living or dying prematurely. I would even donate some to the GB if one of them needed it to stay alive a while longer.

The cannibalism thing cracks me up. If putting something into your body is the same as eating it, then I've been eating tampons for years. (Yes I know they are removed, but transfused blood leaves the body too.)
The concerns over the body rejecting transfused blood were way blown out of proportion by the JWs. I remember being told all transfused blood is automatically rejected and expelled. I don't think that's true.
I was born with a serious blood disorder and have taken transfusions in my post-borg years. Even if I believed in the bible and its admonitions against blood, I would be averse to worshipping any god that required me to die instead of accept medical care. Worshipping that god who put me in harm's way so many times during my jw childhood was an exercise in cognitive dissonance.
Blood is not something to accept lightly. It should be taken when there are not safer alternatives.
