  Global warming, earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters are a direct consequence of the decline in numbers of pirates since the 1800s.

  Hmmm -- I think they might be on to something there.

  Followers are expected to dress in full pirates' regalia.

  Alas, I have been cast from the Pastafarian faith!

  As I can no longer eat wheat, and defile my body with all sorts of non-grain foodstuffs, I am now shunned.

  Hm, you know that picture of the flying spaghetti monster...what if you threw in a sausage on top there, in between the two meatballs? I think that might add some masculinity to his deity.

  Anyway, I belong to the meatballs that were thrown out of heaven after they revolted against the tyranny of the FSM. Our sacraments are much cooler, we throw tomato sauce all over each other, and then we have orgies.
