Civil rights no longer exist in Southeast LA. The water is rising and they don't know where it's coming from. Everyone is to get out as they say they cannot sustain life in the area.

They say at least a month to get the electrity back up. They can't do that until the water is out. The pumps are broke or need electrity so that water cannot be pumped out. I'd say at least two months.

We have decided that we have lost everything. We'll see once we get there.

If you're on the second floor, and if it's not flooded up there, then maybe Marshall Law is a good thing.... it will keep looters from taking whatever is left. No matter how you slice it, though, this is such a difficult situation. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
