As long as the internet is alive and well, so too are our words, thoughts and ideas. Even after we are dead and gone, places like this will house our thought and ideas until at least, the internet is no more, if not the end of this system of things.

Are you leaving for your loved ones and others, a place for them to view your life, your words and your energies, as a means of keeping your spirit alive, even after you have daparted in death? Has anything like this ever occured to any of you?

Well, my loved ones get plenty of input from day to day. But, yeah, I ought to put something together for my hypothetical grandkids or somebody. Websites crash. Maybe a scrapbook.

Many years of a great example of a bad example to follow...followed by hopefully many years of a great example to follow.

I leave them all the love they can carry.

All the kisses they can remember.

All of my inibitions running in their veins.

All of my notes and thoughts on the world.

All of my life devoted to them.

And hopefully I leave them as a whole. Nothing missing and lacking for not on love.

I will leave them the perfect lil treasures that I am proud to have been a part of assisting in growing.

Most of all love and laughter.

I'd want there to be a way for my wife to view my words in an instant. The internet will be in existence until the end of time, just like rap music. Simon's site here has got to be the biggest ex JW site available, which I feel will be here as well till the end of time, or shortly before.

She's never been JW, and has a problem understanding how many of us come to be so twisted. I have, however, left my words and spirit here. As far as sharing my life, there's probably no other place that anyone could look to get an understanding as to who and why I am, the way I am. It's my hope that after it is I have died, that she can come here and still capture a portion of who I was.

I suggest you write a book or at least a manuscript. If you have desires for your 'heritage' to continue beyond your life here on Earth, I strongly suggest you do NOT rely on a message board or anything BUT YOUR EXACT WORDS in your own handwriting to your loved ones.

Write a journal and start today! http://groups.msn.com/editorial/en-us/render/whatsnew/Journals.htm is one place you can start one online that is private. You can transfer your posts from here and put them there. BACK UP ON A CD to make sure you have preserved it. If you feel this way than it is WAY TOO IMPORTANT TO DELAY IN DOING SO! I have started one and it is nice to have a place to go and put things down in writing!

What's the about the "end of this system of things"? Sound awfully JW to me!

I don't intend to leave anything but memories and a fair chunk of cash bequeathed to my kids. I have no desire to memorialize myself beyond the normal. I admire those that can chronical their lives and leave tomes of witicisms and/or contributions to serious thought. I'm just content to be a little guy who enjoyed life and made his mark in other ways.

Oh, guess there will be that sticky little anecdote of a hand full of patents, but, heck, those will fade with time too.

I'd rather my loved ones have their own unique memories of me rather than me talking from the dead, so to speak....

Then they can sit around occasionally and say, remember when dad (andy) did this or that and they can have a good laugh at my expense!!!

I would leave my parents the web address to JWD, They can read all of my posts, lots and lots of them negative towards them. I have told everybody here feelings that I have never, and probably will never say to their face. HL Thanks for listening.
