Until rugby gets a player that weighs 280 pounds that benches 350 lbs and can run 40 yards in 4.7 seconds, they shouldn't make fun of American players wearing pads.

heh, rugby players are the craziest mofos on the planet (having known a few). I would put up odds for a 6 man rugby team vs a 6 man football team any day (tho I lurvs 'merican football!), they are a breed of their own!
