    er.... I mean magnificent liars:

President Bush apointee Condi Rice: "I don't think anyone could have anticipated terrorist flying airplanes into buildings."

President Bush: "I don't think anyone anticipated the breach of the levees."

I voted against him. President Bush, on the day he declared war on Iraq (I swear this is true--I heard him say it on CNN): "This is the guy (Hussein) who tried to assassinate my dad. That is enough of a reason to declare war on Iraq. Yes we have terrorism, etc., but he tried to kill my dad. I shouldn't have to offer any further justification." (Well as you can tell, that was a paraphrase because he doesn't use big words like that...but that's approximately what he said. Watched a film of him saying it. Astonished.)

He's not MY President....unfortunately there's nothing I can do about him that I haven't already done. Legal anyway. He did not win the first election. He was put into the possition by the Supreme Court. He BARELY won the 2nd election ... and saw that as a mandate for continuing his idiocy and ignorance.

I think there would be no more than a scintilla difference between the Administration of one Skull and Bonesman versus another Skull and Bonesman. I also think Kerry was not trying very hard to win.

Damn! So you're saying they replace the brains of Skull and Bonesmen with a preset "cloned" brain, upon initiation? And even those cloned brains are so perfectly matched that there is not even a scintilla (is that a euphemism for rch? lol) of difference?? And then they somehow achieve parity of desire and motivation based on these men's seperate lives and family and business and political interest?

I don't know man; love 'em or hate 'em, they seemed like very different men to me. Especially when time for action comes around.

New Orleans has been aware of the levy problem for at least 30 years. The people living there just never did anything about it and several times over the years actually voted down measures to build up and strengthen the levees.

I grew up in SE Texas and was hearing about this all my life… everyone kept saying, “What if a big hurricane goes through New Orleans?” Then everyone would brush it aside and do nothing because of how much it would cost.

That's what happens when you let a bunch of drunk Cajuns make important decisions.

Hell, think about it, they build a city below sea level, right on the coast!
