I don't know your whole story, Es, but I'm going to guess they didn't do this while you were in - it would sound like nothing but a line after leaving.
I can't think of a better explanation than the CO visit, either.
I guess the moron elders didn't understand what you were telling them in the letter you sent.
But this is the thing they have had there c\o visit two months ago.
And im not D\A they never went through with it like they said they thought i was getting back at my elder dad. The elder last night said we are wondering if we didnt respect your wishes and go through with the D\A. Bit freaking late now isnt it.
But i didnt openly say last night that i wanted to be D\A so it shall be interesting with what happens.
As the respecting my fiances wishes my fiance isnt a JW.

They just don't get it. The local elders almost begged me not to DA last year... 'Look at the grwoth, it has to be the truth'... 'Where else can you go'... 'We'll get some new light about the UN from the Society if you'll just give them a chance'
They are grasping at straws with you. Their numbers are plummeting and the GB is worried that the JW Golden Goose has become infertile and can't lay any more eggs.
How weird... Who knows what their motivation was. I think they underestimate you Es. They don't know how strong you are!

Yeah i was a little shocked and not prepared so i didnt really say half the stuff i would of, but i made it quite clear that there are things i dont agree with and dont believe in and that will never change.
I dont know it just was really weird and i mean it was quite late at night i mean not for me but to making a call like that. And they were very clever coz they knew this elder was my fav..very clever
