    Kwin,

The chairman and p.o. were too arrogant to make your UNdisfellowshipping announcement. So they had some patsy do it.

Who was on your appeal committee? It is supposed to be a different set of elders (more experienced elders) chosen by the c.o.

    Smiles,

I didn't have an appeal committee. What I think happened, was they had the first JC without me, I scared them a bit so they consulted WTS legal dept. Between the body of elders in my hall and the legal dept, they decided that I was wrongfully DF'd on the sole basis that NONE of the proper procedures were followed, and reversed the decision immediately without having the appeal committee with the 3 elders that the CO chooses. However it happened, I still haven't talked to anyone about anything that may DF me or keep me from being DF'd.

I will never under any circumstances bring my kids into a KH again.

People who haven't been to meetings in years are pursued and asked "Do you consider yourself a witless?"

Actually, Irreverent and I have not been pursued although it is going on 4 years for me and 3 for Irreverent. As long as you don't talk to JWs about the errors of the WTS or do things publicly that are obvious JW DFing offenses, you can stay away from the question, "Do you consider yourself a JW?"

I like Mulan's reponse, "do you consider me a JW?" (She and her husband are also inactive)

It's been really interesting to read this. If the elders don't contact you, is the story closed for you?

Never. I spent 25 years of my life trying to convert people, I'll spend the next 25 doing undoing whatever I did.

u say u will never bring your kids into a Kingdom hall again. Will u attend now that youve been reinstated?

Brenda, what did Kwin's children do to deserve such abuse? (i.e. taking them to a meeting) Granted it would be punishment for the JW's but it would be abosolute torture for those poor children.

Carol, Kwin, you're right. No harm intended. I meant it only as a "sign" to the elderbody that you might be sincere.

Defd, I'll attend when the WTS (and bring my kids too)

    1. Admits they have a problem with child molestation and releases all congregation files to the police regarding molestation and informs the congregation when child molestors are amongst them.
    2. Admits in the WT or Awake mags that they were an NGO for over 10 years, and their true purpose for joining.
    3. Puts less emphasis on the Faithful and discreet slave, and more on Jesus where it actually belongs.
    4. Reverses it's practice of shunning ex-members and treats everyone with the love that Jesus taught us to show
    5. quits claiming that Jerusalem was destroyed in 607bc
    6. quits judging other religions while ignoring the faults of its own

Ok, the list goes on, and on but I'll stop there. You get the idea.
