What if the conditions you work under does not provide you with the proper working tools which are vital to your job?
Eg. phone, printer, computer,

How would you feel if you had to collect your printed documents by your boss's department and she reads it?
What if you actually caught her reading something confidential you printed (all in the line of your job) and she quickly moved away and pretended she doesn't have a clue?

If you are in the US and you do not have a labor contract with your employer, the things you described are all perfectly legal.

jesus, of course. and if i can help bring my boss to jesus, he will be a better boss in the end, by recognizing jesus as his head.

What if the conditions you work under does not provide you with the proper working tools which are vital to your job?
Unfortunately, that describes the conditions in most workplaces I've been in. It's a sad day when I'm better equipped to do my job from home than I am when in the office, but that is always the case. It's also pretty pathetic when my home office is more technologically advanced than the environment of the company I work for. I can't count the number of times I took work home just so I can get it done properly and in a timely fashion.
