had to write a will the other day - and I thought about stapling a message to it to post here when I'm dead. Do you think I'm really morbid?
Ballistic - I sure hope you don't plan on that will being executed anytime soon -do you?

actually it amuses me when people advertize they are going to leave -it is like they are begging for people to beg them not to leave. Just my 2 cents
No Jeff - not at all - I guess I've spent far too much time pondering my own mortality for such a young person. The only thing that might give up on me is my liver. I had to write a will because I added up my property etc and was very suprised - and realised my jw ex-wife under UK law had a stake in everything I own even though I'm divorced.
I'm still here everyday, but just reading. I am finding it hard to keep up with the kids and post too.
Checking in everyday at least keeps me from going insane and I keep hoping that one of these days a great post will start about everyone "brought the watchtower down"
Anyway thanks for missing us all!!!

I want people to tell us when they plan to take leave. I want to know they are okay and if they are planning to come back.
I never have perceived someone to be doing it for attention.
I went AWL for two years 2003/2004. I made no announcment. When I returned I just carried on as usual, no announcement. Only one person commented on my return, that was ‘seeitallclearlynow,’ who said:
Well hello, trevor, it's wonderful to see you post again after nearly 2 years.
My dial up connection had become unbearably slow. I came back to try out my new broadband connection and got hooked!
I had not intended to leave, I just found myself busy with other things and also I felt I had nothing new to say - that is truer than ever now. If I leave again I will not be making a speech. I will just quietly slip away.
Slip sliding away, slip sliding away
You know the nearer your destination, the more you slip sliding away

I miss Gumby most of all and Brummie. Two thoughtful and fun guys.
Some posters I love way more than others , but all in all, we are a big family.
