Earlier this week, I picked up the re-release of the T.Rex movie "Born To Boogie". I absolutely love it and have been watching it non-stop!
Tonight I'm going out to karaoke and I'll be singing nothing but T.Rex tunes.
Any other T.Rex fans out there?

Loved Marc Bolan's works when they came out. Didn't know there was a movie, would enjoy seeing it. Made me remember the days Bowie and Bolan were recording together. That was probably a year before the crash. Yeah, he could rock, as well as the rest of the band.
Another T-Rex fan.................................we are special
I have been a fan since he started singing, I was in year 6 when 'hot love' came out in 1971. I knew straight away I'ld be hooked!
Funny thing is I bought a double DVD of Marc Bolan/T-Rex with born to boogie 3 weeks ago and the following week it was on TV. Now you're on this forum talking about him. How cool!
Keep it going.
Cheers, Bliss

Yes, Big Dog, that would be the song that made me buy my first T-Rex album, The Slider. I had a great marc bolan retrospective on lp, but it was lost when I had to get rid of my album collection. Alas, it was an import, so I can't get it on cd.

Hey, Stilla, that is cool, hmmm, not surprised you are a fan also, now that I think of it. You are a bit twisted, too!

Big T-Rex Fan here... anyone notice how Billy Elliot had a ton of Marc Bolan songs?

I'm surprised that most of you aren't from the UK. T.Rex albums are hard as hell to find here. I own three on CD: Electric Warrior, Dandy in the Underworld, and Futuristic Dragon. I've mostly been downloading stuff (especially from the Tyrannosaurus Rex days) to avoid paying outrageous prices for imports.
As for the DVD, I'm shocked it was released here. If any of you Canadians want the soundtrack to go with it, it costs double what I paid for the DVD. Pretty stupid.
