I'm not trying to troll, I'm not trying to be insensitive.
I was deeply saddened, frightened, and angered by the events of 9-11.
But now, two-plus years into a war in a country that was not connected with this event, I have to wonder:
Do the Iraqis get to have a memorial day for every bomb that landed in a civilian populated area? Do they get a monument on every ground zero location where a MOAB or Daisy Cutter landed?

You know the 9/11 Commission found no direct link between Iraq and these events. The whole idea of starting a war there was stupid stupid stupid.
I don't believe we are any safer 4 years later either. Ever since that day I have been waiting for the proverbial other shoe to drop.
