I remember things about the day I was Christened (the party afterwards, not the actual service), at five months. But my main clear first memory is being a little over a year old and toddling into next door's garden, crouching down by their cat, and getting scratched! My first memory of TV that I can put an exact date to is the raising of the Mary Rose in Autumn 1982 when I was 15 months old. I can't remember where I left the remote *now* though... :D

I can remember back to when I was a little over a year old. I remember my mother praying over me while I lay in my crib. I remember how much I adored her. How close she held me. What her perfume smelled like.

I met with a forensic psychologist today. Her first question? Tell me your earliest memories? The words that come to mind are, fear, anger, pain , alone. My mother started studying when I was 2, she was baptized when I was 4. My dad HATED her religion! I have very limited memory of childhood. What I have is painful. I am always amazed at people who describe that childhood as ideal, happy!

When I was in highschool I did this with a friend...digging deep and seeing how far back I could remember. I had a memory from when I was two. My parents had taken me with them to Texas for my aunt and uncle's wedding and I could remember swimming in the hotel pool. Right now, though, all I can truthfully say is that I remember talking to my girlfrend about the old memory. I can't really "feel" it any more.
I do remember stuff from when I was three and four pretty readily, though...especially the traumatic stuff, like my annoying fat and happy little sister and the time I dislocated my shoulder.

I can remember from 1 1/2. The floor plan of our first house, what was in my room, the goldfish that just disappeared one day
I don't really remember ages 16-18 though.

I remember at 18 months my sister crying because she didn't want to go to ballet lessons and I really wanted to go instead of her. I remember being really disappointed because mum didn't let me. I also remember that I wasn't wearing any pants whilst this was taking place. Naked from the waist down. I thought it was really strange but mum can remember it clearly and tells me it is true.

I remember as far back as the age of 2. I can remember my younger brother in diapers, falling down a lot. I think I was in a diaper as well.
