:Richie (18) had a fleshly brother who had been disfellowshipped and admitted to wanting to have associations with him despite the scriptural counsel he had been given; Richie found solace in his parents continued counsel and also read more about Jehovah’s organisations loving arrangement of disfellowshipping. ‘I was immediately given direction from my parents about the dangers of speaking with disfellowshipped ones and counselled about the dangers of becoming disfellowshipped myself if I continued to have associations with him’ (1 Corinthians 33:15) After some prayer and guidance from his parents Richie benefited and the devils attempt at subverting a young brothers faith was thwarted yet again.

I just let a normie co-worker read this and she laughed her head off. What a cult.

It is so happifying to know that in this "GOLDEN AGE" (tm) that started in 1914, we now have plastic bags, as I just vomited into one.

This board is a great slimming aid.

Seek the advice of spirit appointed elders?

Only if you don't mind being publicly ridiculed and humiliated.

    Great work of almost fiction!!!

    Jeffro,

To be fair, it is very similar to an article written in Watchtower on the subject of doubts. Similar enough in parts to be confused with it, in fact.

    Diamondblue,

I know you were just having fun, but there is a real impact to this kind of satire when presented as legitimate. It robs this site and us all of credibility with those who have not been out for so long that they can't remember when Awake! is published. I doubt that was your intent, but I can assure you it bolsters the claim that we fabricate information and accuse the Witnesses based on fabrications.Kwin showed it to a workmate as legitimate, that is exactly what the Witnesses accuse apostates of doing.

In other words, it helps the average Witness to unthinkingly dismiss any information presented by someone who has left as "likely another fabrication." It helps them ignore the UN Web site, the documentation Barbara Anderson has, and others. I hope you did not intend to add to that potential.

    Respectfully,

    OldSoul
