    Yeah... I have internet!

Actually I have power, water, sewer and cable. Only problem I also have holes in my roof.

I arrived last night about 1 am. The bedroom was not damaged and the bed was made when we left. So, when I arrived, beat, I slipped between the sheets. I woke up at 3:30 am with welts covering half my body, the itching was intense. It freaked me out. I thought of going to ER, but decided to take a shower put my clothes back on and take alergy med. I decided that if it was the same when I woke up I would head to the hospital. Thank goodness, I was fine in the morning. Scary!

Anyway, our storage did not flood either, so we lost very, very little. I'm packing now and will be putting everything into storage. We should be returning here at the end of the year.

    Take care everyone,

    Bryan

Terrific news, Bryan! Hope all goes well as you get settled back in and work out the kinks created by Katrina.

Glad to hear your back but aren't they going to evacuate N.O. again because of this next hurricane?

Did you find out what the source of the welts was from? Sounds like it could be a reaction from mold.

If the hurricane keeps on it's present course I can stay here in Kenner (next to New Orleans). I have no clue what created the welts.

    Thanks,

    Bryan

Can't wait for your book!! I am sooo glad you came out of this horrible mess with only holes. I think about your flat screen TV, every time I go to the store and look at them. Our Big Screen went out recently. We are now watching TV on a 19 inch. I just can't let go of the money (or credit) to buy a new one. HL
