The most excellent job of landing I've ever seen! It happened two miles away from me and everyone was quite excited!

It's a good thing it was locked at 90 degrees, instead of 45 degrees. It would have been hard to hold on the runway when it's pulling towards the left or right. And it's good that the landing gear didn't collapse.

It was a brilliant landing. Kudos to Jet Blue! That was a great pilot and from what I hear, a very professional flight crew. Never flew on that airline, but will now consider now for the future (provided they fix the landing gear issue).
And the passengers did watch themselves on TV (satellite TV courtesy of Jet Blue) while they were flying. That must've been one strange experience.

That was hell of a landing, I was watching it live on CNN and praying for those pilots to land safely.
Give him a raise ? Hell I'd give that pilot 2 raises or 3 or 4.
