Someone made a similar post about this on another board I frequent, about six months ago. I found the one about the guy getting locked in the garage so outrageous, it made me angry. Then I started doing some research, and found out all of these cases are actually fake. I forget for sure, but I think the whole thing got started by some people who purposely made up inane yet barely plausible stuff to make people realize just how ridiculous the legal system and the sue-at-the-drop-of-a-hat mentality is.
