Please take a look at my new avatar...it's a drawing by my son, David. (age 23) I'm trying to post another drawing by him...but I don't think I'm doing it right...so, this is a test.... If it works, you'll see Jimmy Hendrix...if not...well...I goofed...so here goes.

does he work in the graphic arts field? or is trying to go on his own with his talent?
thanks for posting those. portraits are my thing too. i know how hard it is to master the human face, as a human, compared with drawing or painting other animals.

He's actually in college for computer technology. He's always loved to draw... I've always done artwork on artwork on the side, and he hung out with me....but hasn't had much formal training other than that.... pretty much self taught. I hadn't seen any of his work in a while... he's in Florida going to school, and I'm in MA... Visited him last week...and I was blown away by how far he has come...

Would he sell his work? If so PM me. I would be interested in purchasing his Jimi Hendrix
or at least have him look into doing Giclée reproductions of his work. he could do an edition run, sell the prints and keep the original.
