Hi freetobeme! I'm way north of you, nearer Seattle, but I wanted to mention that we're having a Portland meetup (aka apostafest) the first part of November. It would be really cool if you could make it up, you couldn't ask to meet a better bunch unless you happened to make it up to Seattle sometime, and THEN of course, you know we are the BEST up here!!! If I had the link I'd post it for you but I suck at that, my silly computer won't open more than one browser at a time, makes me crazy!
As to my online persona I think I come off way stronger than I am personality wise. I'm not shy one-on-one, but in large groups I do get a bit tongue tied! So since my meetups with others here have always been in large groups I probably seem to be quite different!

I think I am like that as well, I am a very shy person in person and even a bit on the forum as well, I socialise more and communicate better in writing cause I sometimes have the problem of saying something and it comming out differently than what I actually meant.... but that happens on forums as well I guess. People can't really understand me when I'm shy cause I talk all quietly, but when I become real good friends with the person I can open up more.... I'm sure a lot of people are like that
