Hey tetrapod, you met one of my fellow Montrealers! When I first met him I couldn't understand why such a soft spoken, thoughtful fellow had chosen (at the time) Saint Satan as his post name, certainly didn't fit the person!

I, too, have had great experiences meeting members of the board. It is possible to have a "meeting of minds" even if we have never met in person. The strangest experience is first meeting. My brain works overtime getting used to the person's mannerisms and patterns of speech. It's like before I met them, I had only a grainy photo to go by.
Satanus is very nice and is one of my favorite posters. Soon I am supposed to meet up with SunnyGal. She lives an hour from my daughter. Terri, if you're reading this, I am looking forward to meeting you very much.
Yeah, I've always liked Satanus.
Some people might count that as a mark against him. LOL
Tetra, It seems like you are quite excited and happy about meeting satanus. Does he look like his avatar? (just kidding). You're probably two birds of a feather. Nice guys.
*Note to JWD posters.. tetra has gone out of his way in the past months to help me with a project. I have taken a lot of his time with my silly questions, he's really nice.

anyways, thanks for all your comments peoples of the board! if any of you are ever in calgary or alberta, you must let me know so we can meet up for a coffee or a beer or a martini or a party! and when i travel from now on, i will be dropping people a PM to see if they want to meet up at all.

for sure! i'll try to time it with a david suzuki speech! ;) actually, my wifes family live in montreal, so i go out there fairly often. when they have stopped shunning me, i would like to come out for the jazz fest while on my way out to visit the east coast crew.

tetra, dude, next road trip to Montreal (what a city btw, was there in early '93), if you decide to cruise through Niagara Falls, well I'm 45 minutes away and we would have to hook up.
When I asked everybody to identify themselves as male or female on their profiles, Satanus never would give me a straight answer.
So let me see if I understand this perfectly. Would you say, since you have met with him, that Satanus is a male? HL
