A former girlfriend of mine - Georgia Peach (who dated Greg Allman in his Idlewild South days) would go nuts over Jon Bon Jovi. "Jon Bon Jovi this, and Jon Bon Jovi that..." I saw it more as a progression of Robert Plant, Eddie Van Halen, Bruce Springsteen, and now Jon Bon Jovi letters. She wrote all these guys. She keeps writing Jon, was writing him as I left her. Still writes all the time. Spoke to her a month ago; still writes, "never know," she says. I personally find that the guy makes me laugh, no matter what he's doing. Sort of like a serious Dick van Dyke (Dick was very funny, Jon Bon Jovi just makes me laugh - I'm laughing NOW. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!)

I so had the hots for Bon Jovi in the 80s. There was a time period in 87 when we got home from the TMS & SM meetings my dad would have to go to work and I would turn on MTV with my mother. Living on a Prayer always seemed to be on and I couldn't get enough of that video. OMG did I want one of those leather jackets with fringes!!!!!
Tonight I saw the LOAP video with my 15 year and then the video for "Have a Nice Day" and my daughter even said Jon was hot! She has good taste!
