    Greetings!

I happened to come across this interesting case.

For all you lay folk, the gist is this. This woman who is Eritrean but whose husband is Ethiopian faces deportation and may end up back in Eritrea. She claims to be a JW and since JWs are being persecuted in Eritrea she is seeking asylum.

the original hearing officer said that she couldn't answer some basic questions about the "founder of JWs" and about other religious dates and so determined that she was not a JW and denied her the asylum.

On appeal the judge has found that this was an error and that if she is a JW then she should be granted the asylum.

Hell, in that case I'm a Tibetan Buddhist Monk and I need asylum and all sorts of aid from the US!

    Praise the Lord!!!!

What's the problem here? Sounds like a typical Witness to me.
