We love steak - although tri-tip is my favorite, I buy whatever "good stuff" is on sale.
Has anyone tried marinating steak in Chaka's sauce. That stuff is awesome. Thankfully Costco sells the BIG bottle.

yes absolute addict - I eat steak 3 times a week. Fav is prime rib cooked rare - tehn KC Strip then rib eye and then filet mignon

yeah me too, I'm really a BEEF addict. Hamburgers, beef stews, ground beef, roasts......I could have a pot roast right now!
You know when there's a major Jewish holiday coming because the briskets go on sale!! Love those Jews for feeding my beef addiction!

Thanks to this thread I am having steak for dinner tonight.
My favourite is sirloin, I fry it with onion and mushrooms and half way through cooking I pour over garlic butter, serve it with big fat chips and fried tomato, lovely!

lightly rubbed with olive oil...fresh pepper...and garlic...
Grilled! Medium-rare

I love steak too and could eat it almost every night. The butcher at our grocery store told me about "Chuck Eye" steaks, and recommended them highly. We bought some and LOVED them. They are so cheap, and have amazing flavor too. I marinate them in a mesquite marinade, because we like the smoky taste, and then BBQ. We use our barbecue all year round.
I also love rib eye steaks, but seldom buy them because of the cost. They are a treat though.
I have a freezer full of chuck eye steaks now, because I buy them whenever they are in the store, which isn't real often.

We love steak too. There are 2 places nearby that are famous for their steaks (and I don't mean Ponderosa or Outback).
And what about prime rib?
