    G'day all,

Yep, this weekend's poll is the 150th!!!

Ok, so what shall we reminisce about today? Methinks it should be something about.......um.....oh I know!

How did you view those who wouldn't answer from the paragraph in the Watchtower Study?

    1. Can't they read?

    2. Here we go again!

    3. We must make allowances for those who're "weak".

    4. Wasn't listening!

    5. That was interesting!

    6. They'll never make elder!

    7. Next thing you know, they'll be taking the emblems!

    8. Yes, but.............

    9. Why's Sister ............. wearing that today?

    10. That reminds me, I'm supposed to put my report in.

    11. Other (please detail)

Okay, which response best matches how you used to think. Let us know, and don't forget.......

    Enjoy!

    Cheers, Ozzie (permanently upside-down class)

    5. those were the ONLY interesting comments, other than the moderate interest in how many ways they could rephrase the exact same comment into "your own words."

I always appreciated someone who took the time to look up information even if it was just in another WT publication. I didn't care if they rambled a little. I loved the older JWs who would relate something from the past and make a stinging application.

5 : I overheard the paragraphs mostly 3 times so an independent answer was refreshing...... (as far as possible)

it was either #1 or #4 depending on who was making the comment.

Some wannabe elders or elderettes were sooooooooooo long winded it was sickening

    Happy 150th Ozzie!!

#5. I generally dug it when someone had an interesting point to make, esp. if the information came from a secular source such as an encyclopedia or, in one memorable instance, the writings of Marcus Aurelius. However, it could be tiresome if it was just stupid, off-topic rambling from someone who just liked to hear herself talk about "Jehovah's wonnnnderful creation" at every danged meeting.
