that was an interesting show..
he recomended a resocialization therapy program for the people who had left the religion.
anyone know anything about this kind of therapy?

it wasnt on the JW's it was on The children of god cult..
a lot of sexual abuse went on and very sad stories were told.

The group is called "The Children of God" who have "hookers for Jesus"
I'm watching it now
Resocialization would include teaching them how to relate in the world and perhaps some basic living skills

I remember them when they were in Huntington Beach on the late 1960s.

I think they were strange but back then everyone was strange. I don't think they were that bad when they were in HB. They were on Main St. close to the pier. They believed that California was going to fall in the ocean so they moved out of state. I think the really weird stuff began after they left California.
