20 years ago the Boston Herald carried a headline "the liitle girl that God saved" it told of a 5 year old girl who was the sole survivor of a horrible plane crash that killed her parents anf left her with 2nd and 3rd degree burns and many broken bones.

She survived because of physics her small body mass limited her trauma exposure.
