it's obvious that his conversion to Islam did not much good to him

It's funny how many who would be so quick to pounce on his JW-ism if he's committed a crime while still one of those will claim it can't be anything to do with Islam when the crime is committed while a muslim.

He was obviously susceptible to the disease of religion.

he was not a JW before he became a muslim , he was stealing credit cards and spending all his money on prostitutes

Brusthom Ziamani, 19, was arrested in east London in August last year carrying a 30cm (12in) knife and a hammer in a rucksack, having earlier researched the location of army cadet bases in the south-east of the capital.

His Old Bailey trial has heard that he “reverted” to Islam early in 2014 and was arrested after he showed his ex-girlfriend weapons, described Fusilier Rigby’s killer Michael Adebolajo as a legend, and told her he would kill soldiers.

after he became a muslim he was caught with a 30cm knife and had plans to behead a western soldier.. sounds to me like a crime inspired by Islam

He was obviously susceptible to the disease of religion - this.

JW born in + eager Muslim convert = one seriously f*cked up individual.

Let's call it a minimum of 25 years before parole is allowed - no 'serve half the sentence and you can go free'

Don'tcha just love the nutters who leave the WTS 'cause it's not extreme enough for 'em?

It seems that there is no real connection between this lad and J W's - just that his parents are dubs.

This write up implies that his parents' intolerance of his new religion drove him into the association of the hard line Jihardists.

Giving evidence, the defendant said he was kicked out of home after his Jehovah’s Witness parents found out he had converted to Islam. Initially he turned to the Camberwell mosque for help before he fell in with members of an extremist group called al-Muhajiroun ALM) who gave him money, clothes and a place to stay.

Of course he might say anything to justify his action??

From The Guardian: in his defence, Ziamani’s lawyer, Naeem Mian, said expressing “repulsive” views was not illegal - one rule for them and another for the rest of us, eh
