Did they call that action a
CLEANING?
avishai, I know a little bit about what you and your family have gone through, though not nearly as much as I should to make a post like this.
This all happened, be sure of it. And the specific instructions were, essentially: "This is the Bethel Family, and what happens here, stays here."
I think I said that already...if not on this thread, then elsewhere.
Never a word was ever printed about this in the Watchtower, nor will it ever be.
AlanF has posted more than a fair bit about similiar evidence of homosexual activities at Bethel, and I recommend anyone who has a particular interest in these matters to contact him directly.
However, the purpose of posting my personal history is not to pursue this particular line of inquiry.
This just goes to show that intelligence alone is not inoculation against Watchtower teachings. A marvellously complex mind can justify nearly anything. At least that's what I blame for my stupidity when choosing my first husband.
LOL @ jgnat!!!
[turns crazily hungered eyes toward ozziepost] MORE!
I remember hearing about that (the gay round-up) when it happened.
Waiting for part 6
I personally know more than one bethelite that had a gay roommate. This was in the early/mid-90's

OMG ----ROTFLMAO.... A homo ring at bethel ... that's pricless there . I mean these people don't want anyone getting married to begin with and you can't have sex unless married , What would you expect ? Then they want to blame their homosexuallity on alcohol .... What a bunch of fony freaks ....
KEEP IT COMING ONA , I'M LOVING IT
Onacruse, this is THE story that I heard about. I never was able to get the details, but my cousin told me about this story. I wasn't sure how much, if any, of it was true.
