I love turkey day.I havent cooked a turkey and all the fixins and pies and cakes in almost 3 years. Hubby has requested that I do so this year. I was hopping that my parents would come visit on Thanksgiving but I think they will come again around Halloween, which is cool - they'll get to see the kids all dressed up.
So if anyone wants some good ole turkey roasted in white wine and butter with some cornbread stuffing,mashed potatoes, homemade turkey gravy, brandied sweet potatoes with raisins, mustard and collard greens, creamed corn, macaroni and cheese, homemade rolls, carrot cake, sweet potato pie, and peach cobbler - come on down!!
Yes I am really going to cook all that food

Thanks Legolas, right back atchya....Happy Thanksgiving to you...I'm cooking the bird this year, with all the trimmings....my favorite part, is the stuffing and gravy....yummy.....and the pumpkin pie with candied pralines on top.....have a good one everyone who is celebrating.....
