There's a lady at my daughter's work who won't do any work on the "internet" for religious reasons, so she dumps it all (internet and intranet internal forms) on my daughter. I don't have much time for that sort of silliness.

Sounds like a witness to me! Jeff

Good Gravy! That is a buncha silliness! But I wonder if I could use the same excuse at my own job to avoid the tasks I personally deem "less than savory" Hmm? Make them some form of religious persecution in order to pass the proverbial buck?!? Maybe your daughter should jump on the bandwagon!

Not a witness, just another kind of kook. My daughter speculates if she will be as well-liked when she tells this woman she's not interested in any more religious literature. P.S. You should have seen the look on that lady's face when they brought in a belly-dancer as a farewell gift for a colleague. Her exit was blocked by goggling staff members so she had to sit there, transfixed.

No. In fact I kinda admire people with deeply held convictions or those with deep faith.

However, when such causes them to arrogantly claim 'absolute truth' then I usually will turn my nose up at them from the stench.

It's not their faith, but rather their arrogance that turns off most people.

Not as long as they stay out of my face, but I have no respect for those who would try to convert me, judge me, condemn me or whatever.

Not down on - I used to look up to them, now I look across and think I am ‘GAY.’

By the way that means ‘good as you’ and they can’t handle the idea of someone who gets through life without conforming to their bigoted and illusionary ideas and joining their club.
