I could be mistaken but I am picking up on a lot of negativity combined with anger. I think you will find that we have all been there through those feelings. Especially if you have left the JW organisation fairly recently.
I couldn't see any of your posts that had been deleted. If you click on your name and then click post history you can see what you have written.
Stick around, people here have assorted beliefs and they are happy to discuss things with you. Personally I still have a belief in God I just don't know exactly what the truth about him is...

I'm glad someone raised this question anyway. I've noticed that someone other than person posting it originally has modified some posts. Do we really need that sort of censorship here I wonder. Maybe this post will be deleted as result of raising the issue but if we are to employ the same methods like some cults we discuss about than we are not much better than them are we?
There is a real danger where every opinion has to conform to accepted reasoning, or else you become labeled outcast. Free forum should not become a place where we only pat each other on the back, what's the point of that anyway?
Freedom is really to let others express their opinion even if it will make your blood boil. Greatness of a man is in his ability to take an opposing view and deal with it intelligently without insults, ridicule or character assassination.

If a forum assistant/moderator edits a post it is because the rules (that people agree to when they register for the forum) has been broken. About an hour ago I had to edit a post that might have given everyone access to somebody's PMs. I later found out that anyone trying to access that person's PM simply got aan ACCESS DENIED message but I didn't want to take any chances at someone being able to read someone else's PMs.
When a mod edits a post our name will appear at the bottom of the post and a comment why the edit was made. I and a few other posters sometimes also add additional info into the post itself to provide more info.
And we do try to PM everyone. Please note though that if you haven't checked your PMs in a month they automatically disappear
Post can be edited because personal info has been posted or personal attacks on another poster. You can check the rules at the TERMS OF USE link at the top of the page.
We try to make sure this is a friendly environment for all posters. Open discussion is very different than a free-for-all.

I make no apologies for this board or anyone on it. Including you. If you "believe in God" (whatever that means) then fine. If you don't, fine. If you think God is a wart on a frog's asshole, great. What does it matter to me? For me? To me? or any other preposition in regards to me or anyone else. I think you miss the probable intention of this board and these people. Although I cannot speak for the others, I see this platform as a way to expand you. Yeah, you! Having been in or near an "organization" who's avowed purpose is always for somebody else, its hard to imagine a bunch of folks who are really only concerned with you. I don't care if you believe in Jesus, Jehovah, or Rutabaga, I want you to be as happy and as content as you can be. Trying to make yourself happy by believing something that somebody else says is right is a dead end street; but, that is my experience. Maybe for you it is Nirvana, in which case, great, if you truely feel that way, no one here has the authority nor the validity to say that you are wrong. However, if you cannot understand the subtlties nor grasp the emotional strings that are displayed by those who write to this board, then your place is not here. It is quite probable that your place is to remain in the congregation whos inconsistancies made you curious about "us". There is no shame in that (although many bitter voices centered here may disagree) , not only because "shame" is so relative, but because beneath it all, the "true Christians" of this world only want you to be like Jehovah claims to be: happy. If you are happy where you are, then stay there. If not, then get off your ambivalent ass and decide, you dumb shit, decide.
